The largest in the Park, this floral bed is kept in constant color with seasonal annuals and perennials. Intricately designed boxwood hedges and graceful walks further enhance these beds. Each year, 4,000 annuals are transplanted from 4-inch pots and color-packs to maintain this dazzling display 365 days a year.

In conjunction with a wide array of annuals, many perennials and other colorful shrubs are displayed in interesting beds, decorative pots, in borders and around buildings throughout the Park.

Side WalkAt SeaWorld, readily planted ornamental pots prove invaluable. These colorful pots give us plantings that move to hide construction sites, to create detour walkways, and to enhance areas for special events.

As well as following the classical approach of using large beds of a similar flower, SeaWorld also intermixes different plants of varying colors and forms to create eye-catching displays. This intermixing not only presents a beautiful picture, but also allows replacement of old plants with new ones without having to change the whole bed.
